Meet Deborah Song

Associate Deborah Song is a personal injury attorney and an essential part of HN Injury Lawyers. Deb is known for her outstanding dedication to her clients and positive attitude. She truly cares about each one of our clients and is willing to go the extra mile to make them feel comfortable. Deb aspires to become a judge one day.
Deb attended the University of California, Riverside and graduated magna cum laude in two years with two bachelor degrees: one in religious studies and the other in philosophy. She expedited her graduation because she was that eager and excited to start law school. She was also awarded for being the “most meritorious,” as well.
Deb went on to study law at Whittier Law School. Shortly thereafter, she was elected to be secretary of the National Asian Pacific American Law Student Association. Prior to completing her first year, Whittier Law School announced that it would be shutting down and closing its doors. Not letting that stop her, she transferred to Western State University College of Law, where, due to her profound academic standing, she was invited to join Law Review and tutor struggling law students. She worked at law firms all over Orange County, including HN Injury Lawyers, to learn and apprentice as much as she could while attending evening classes. She graduated magna cum laude in law school and was ranked fourth in her class.
Despite studying tirelessly for the bar exam, a filing error limited Deborah’s ability to take the exam on her chosen date. She did not let that stop her, however, and took the matter up to the Supreme Court of California, which resulted in her, along with other students affected by the filing error, being able to sit for the bar exam. Even with less than a month left to study for the exam, Deb still passed the California State Bar on her first try and was admitted to practice law in all California State Courts.
